Digital Designer & Content Producer - Internship

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to join our team on a 6 month internship through the national DWP Kickstart Scheme. We are really excited to support this opportunity to help boost an early stage career in design for the next generation! 

Candidates eligible to apply must be age 16 - 24 years old and claiming / enrolled with Universal credit at the time of application.

About the role
Reporting directly to the founders, this role will provide an ambitious and creative junior to support the creative development of content and project work for branding, marketing and advertising with a core focus on social media, packaging and product development in addition to opportunities for UI/UX design for e-commerce / digital projects.

This role will be an opportunity for an individual with experience using the Adobe Create Suite and other tools to develop artwork from concept through to production.

Degree or no degree, the role can be adapted for the right candidate that has a flair for branding, design and creativity with an ambition to learn and grow. The selected candidate may also progress to a full time position within the team following a successful internship. 

A creative problem solver with an innovative mindset in addition to a natural ability to be organised and manage time effectively is important for success in this role.

Additional responsibilities include e-commerce content updates for the website and other channels, product management assistance and other adhoc tasks to support the founders.

The role will be based in North London/Hertfordshire.

Bonus skills
Desirable but not critical skills include Video production, Photography, 3D CAD. 

Working Hours
Minimum 25 hours per week. Hours are flexible.

National minimum wage. Salary is negotiable for more experienced candidates. 

Additional Employability Support
The internship will offer daily contact and guidance from the founders, providing training where required to complete project work.

Internal 1-2-1 training will be provided with scope to enroll on further development programmes to enhance skills.
